Iconic Upper West Side Historic Buildings

The Upper West Side’s unique architecture includes some of the most interestingly designed buildings in Manhattan. The buildings selected are considered by many as the most architecturally significant buildings in the area. This leisurely 2.3 mile tour starts at the Fieldston School and concludes at The Dakota, made famous as the former home of John Lennon and the place where he was shot. Also take the short walk into Central Park to Strawberry Fields, dedicated to the memory of John Lennon. The 2.5 acre landscaped area was named after the Beatle’s song “Strawberry Fields Forever”.
