The Cloisters

The original Cloisters was built in 1914 by George Grey Barnard, a noted sculpture, to display his treasures. Today, the Cloisters located in Fort Tyron Park in Washington Heights. is part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and reminds one of a medieval monastery.
